Student Stethoscopes

The Littmann Cardiology IV is our most popular student stethoscope.  Littmann stethoscopes have a patented tunable technology for listening to high frequency sounds by applying pressure on the diaphragm and low frequency sounds by laying the chestpiece gently against the skin.  The Cardiology IV small side can be used for listening to pediatric patients or converted into a traditional bell.

The Littmann Master Cardiology is a single sided stethoscope with higher acoustic performance for adult patients than the Cardiology IV.  It includes a pediatric adaptor but is recommended more for adult medicine.

The Welch Allyn Harvey Elite and DLX stethoscopes provide comparable high acoustic performance compared to Littmann stethoscopes.  Each model includes a pediatric accessory kit to convert the diaphragm and bell into a true pediatric stethoscope.

The Prestige Cardiology is an economical alternative to Littmann and Welch Allyn stethoscopes.  It has Cardiology grade (two tubes in one) tubing, traditional bell and diaphragm, and pediatric accessories.
