A Sharpener for Nippers and Bone Cutting Forceps
The Nip-It hand held sharpener for nippers and bone cutting forceps is an easy way to
put a fresh edge when you need it most.
Directions
- Grasp the Miltex Nip-It with curved edge resting firmly against palm.
(We recommend the Miltex Nip-It is held firmly on a flat surface, i.e. a table).
- Turn nipper or bone cutting forceps over so that the flat surface of jaw (back of jaw)
is facing up.
- Place opened instrument at top (small end) of sharpening stone.
- Draw opened instrument from top to bottom of stone, pulling instrument toward you with
a circular downward motion. Repeat 2 or 3 times until blades are sharpened.
- Pass back (flat side) of closed instrument over stone to remove any burs.
